Kuiyan Zhang is one of managing officers at AFD China, mainly in charge of the management of patent teams and business process management, and has considerable working experiences in intellectual property services and the related management. Before taking this position, she had engaged in patent and trademark prosecution and post-grant proceedings and the related management for many years. Her technical fields include materials, materials engineering, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, mechanical devices, mechanical equipment, chemical engineering, chemical equipment, medical devices, daily necessities, household appliances, and more.
For more than twenty years, Kuiyan has been committed to working in collaboration with other officers and directors at AFD China, leading the team to provide high-quality services to clients. Her knowledge and ability in the industry and professional fields have been recognized by clients.
Kuiyan’s academic pursuit of a Chemical Engineering degree at university, coupled with her working experience in R&D as well as quality monitoring and management in enterprises, her further study in Business English at the Institute of Economic Management, her trainings at the China Intellectual Property Training Center and the All-China and Beijing Patent Attorneys Associations, and her IP working experience as a paralegal, patent engineer, patent attorney, trademark attorney, department head and director, have all laid a solid foundation for her outstanding professional performance in intellectual property practice and management, as well as for her excellent communication and cooperation with clients.
